Privacy Policy
Unclockable is built for private, local transition documentation. The app does not require an account, does not include ads, does not use third-party analytics, and does not sell personal information.
What You Store In The App
You may choose to store selfies, photo thumbnails, journal notes, mood tags, body measurements, medication notes, optional voice notes, your chosen name, pronouns, transition date labels, and reminder preferences.
This information is stored on your device. Photos are encrypted using AES-GCM and the app's encryption key is stored in the iOS Keychain. Photo files are written with iOS complete file protection.
What Leaves Your Device
Unclockable does not send your photos, journal entries, measurements, or profile information to our servers. The current version does not provide an account system or developer-operated cloud sync.
Information may leave your device only when you choose to use system features outside the app, such as sharing an exported timeline, saving to Photos, restoring from a device backup, or using Apple services configured on your device.
Permissions
- Camera access to take transition photos
- Face ID or device passcode access to protect the app
- Notification permission for optional daily reminders
- Photo Library access if you choose to use or save photos through the system photo library
- Microphone access if you choose to record a voice note
Tracking And Analytics
Unclockable does not track you across apps or websites. The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking code.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete photos, journal entries, body logs, and app data from inside Unclockable. You can also remove the app from your device to delete its local app container, subject to iOS backup and restore behavior controlled by your device settings.
